FOR FOREIGNERS

CAP – Centro de Aperfeiçoamento em Português is a school specialized in teaching Portuguese language. Our teachers have vast experience with foreigners and use varied didactic material, selecting the best in this area.

Gradually, the learner, in individual classes, gets easiness and high quality in expressing and understanding Portuguese. Moreover, the student lives deeply the Brazilian culture, a very important factor for communication in Brazil.

 

Thus, the classes are dynamic and the students really succeed communicating in Portuguese.

The full individual course is composed of five stages:

 

Duration: 30 or 15 hours (Hispanics)

For beginners. The participant learns the essential topics to start communicating in Portuguese. The student is capable of identifying himself, complimenting people and having very simple dialogue. Brazilian every day life is deeply lived in classroom and the student reaches autonomy in current situations of communication.

 

Duration: 60 or 40 hours (Hispanics)

For learners with basic knowledge of Portuguese.

The participant acquires more elaborated structures of Portuguese language and extends the vocabulary. Besides, subjects from our culture and the student’s interests are also approached.

 

Duration: 80 or 40 hours (Hispanics)

For learners who want to communicate with fluency and grammatically right. The participant learns more sophisticated structures and idiomatic expressions, which provide a more efficient communication in a secure way.

The student will be prepared to get CELPE-BRAS, the unique Brazilian certificate of proficiency in Portuguese as a foreign language officially recognized. It is accepted internationally in companies and educational institution as a proof of competency in Portuguese language and, in Brazil, it is demanded to enter university and for post graduation courses.
